I doubt i'm alone, but i tried to upgrade my iphone 5s from ios 7 to ios 9 this am, and am stuck. all my photos, etc are backed up, so i don't care if the solution is to wipe and restart, but not sure what else to try. 1) upgrade froze on the slide to upgrade screen.. A fix to the ios 9 upgrade bug where users are stuck / frozen at the “slide to upgrade” screen when updating their iphone, ipad or ipod touch.. Stuck on apple logo during ios 9/9.2/9.2.1/9.3/9.3.3 update this is a common and annoying problem that when we try to update to the new os, the iphone is more likely to be stuck on apple logo and can’t boot up completely..

I have the exact same problem with my 5s! i have connected it to itunes on the computer and tried to erase and restart the phone, but in order to do that i need to finish updating to ios 9!!.
