Same problem here on iphone 4. updated to ios 6. tried to install app updates (via mac os x itunes - plugged into macbook pro). apps copy over to iphone, but they don't finish the install process. they are all frozen and remain so. i've tried restarting iphone, deleting apps from itunes on mac and redownloading them. nothing seems to work..
